I am extremely excited for AQ3D right now that I can barely contain myself for what's to come in July. I also understand that this game was to take on a more serious tone than it's predecessors, so I've devised a brilliant idea for it's background story and how it would be possible for Grimsbane to be able to almost COMPLETELY WIPE OUT THE GUARDIANS!
Grimsbane, the main villain of AQ3D, was responsible for the destruction of all of the previous Guardian Towers. Considering how powerful and organized the Guardians ('Jedi' powered by Dragon Magic) are, you'd think that destroying just One tower would be quite a handful. Grimsbane on the other hand, he almost COMPLETELY WIPED OUT the Guardians! The Question is... How?
How did he do it? Here is my idea: he PLANNED their downfall. Look at any real Dictator or War General, and you could tell that raw strength wasn't what gave them the upper hand in wars. It was their tactical minds that took advantage of the situations that were present before them, and if there wasn't any in their favor then they'd MAKE ONE. This is what Grimsbane needs to be like; he needs to not only have immense strength but a brilliant tactical mind in order to concur all of LORE!
So here is how he did it: Grimsbane wanted to bring destruction to the Guardians but knew that his forces of undead were not enough to take on the full unified strength of the ENTIRE GUARDIAN ORDER, so he needed to weaken them. First he would put a stranglehold on any monsters or rival villains that would try to stir up trouble for the Guardians and human society, making the people think that the days of villainy were over and the Guardians would relax a little... But not for long!
Then, hiring agents among the humans, he would convince them that the Guardians were no longer necessary to protect the people of Lore, and when the Guardians refused to back down from their stations as... well 'Guardians', the people would revolt and create a civil war among themselves between the Loyalists and Revolutionaries; while all the while not knowing who was masterminding their entire "Revolution". The countries would split apart, taking sides against one another, and slowly beginning to weaken themselves against Grimsbane's eventual assault.
Once he came with his army of undead, no one was prepared, and they had even done most of his job for him. His armies swept in like a current of zombified corpses and wiped out any who stood in their way, and with Grimsbane himself spearheading the assaults on the Towers, there would be NO ESCAPE. The remaining Loyalists and Revolutionaries (who quickly realized their fault) had protected the Last Guardian Tower with all their might, and succeeded. Grimsbane's own army had been severely weakened from all the casualties they had sustained from destroying the other Guardian Towers and slaying their Guardians. He knew his army would not last against these remaining Guardians, and perhaps neither would he.
Grimsbane ordered a tactical retreat, to prevent a catastrophic loss for his army, and for his Other Plans. The remaining Guardians celebrated their victory against Grimsbane and his army, and here is where they shall regroup and restore order to the lands of Lore. They would have to undo the terrible damage that Grimsbane had caused to the people of Lore, the desolation of their homes, the lives that had been taken from them, and the great divides that have separated them. The Guardians must undo all of these horrible crimes Grimsbane had committed. Starting here in this little town...

Overlord: LoE Overhaul to come
When I first started writing Overlord: Legacy of Evil, it was more or less a side project I was writing while I was working on school work and actual work. But since I graduated a few years ago I kind of stagnated with writing in general. I read the occasional novel and had ideas bubbling in my head for years now, but I haven't had much motivation to actually write anything since. In all honesty, I feel ashamed I allowed myself to neglect this part of myself. I was filling the void with experiencing the works of other story writers with shows, games, and the rare book once in a while. This is something I need to get back to; writing my own stories and sharing them with the world. I am tired of putting this off indefinitely. If not for the admiration and wonder I hope to see from my readers, than for my own sake. Back then, LoE merely existed to hone my skills as a writer, so that I could "Feel the Room" of what I can write. It's that reason why I have decided to rewrite
Legacy of Evil Returns? And Medical Issue.
Been a while since I've posted anything substantial on DA, but since at least one person asked me to continue my story, "Overlord: Legacy of Evil", then I might as well get back to work on it. I guess all it takes for me to get back on to one of my projects is for someone to ask me to. Can't tell if that makes me shallow, but I know I want to continue it too. But there are some caveats to this at the moment. Firstly, I have to reread LoE to remember what I was doing and setting up. (Going to have to deal with so much cringe with my old writing). I never actually wrote a diagram for the events in the storyline, so I was kind of just going along without much of a plan. (Kind of like Disney Star Wars). So this time I'm going to work on the whole storyline before I start posting Chapters. I will be as vague as possible with this next part. However, I recently developed a rather- let's just say that I recently went to the doctor's for some "Surgical Expertise" and now I am
A Return to DA and LoE...
After so long away from my computer I'm finally back from College and the mundane day-to-day.
I'm so glad I'm done with College so I can just deal with work and house work.
But I did need a few months to settle after all that baggage I had to unload.
Not a great time for my Therapist either!
Putting Real Life aside for a moment...
Legacy of Evil has just been updated with it's newest chapter.
Time has allowed me to hone my craft at the written word so the latest works I might create will be a definite upgrade to what they once were.
(I Hope).
The following chapters will not necessarily be restricted to the manner their predecessors we
The Immensely LATE Update to Overlord: LoE!
I started this chapter back when I was still in high school last year and here I am now finishing it after sooo long!
There's at least ONE person who I think reads this crap of mine, but I'm glad for it anyway.
I just finished my first year of College so I think I'll have time to work on Overlord: LoE for a little while.
Though personally I doubt I'll get much attention for it.
I also used a image from the Walking dead for the preview image for it.
Just perfect.
I hope whoever finds this story I'm writing for free will enjoy it.
Cause the lack there of of viewers and comments is what distance me from this little project in the first pl
